Student Films

Gilligan's Island

When I moved to New Smyrna Beach in 10th grade, I quickly became friends with some of the TV production guys. Even though I didn't have the class, I quickly became one of their favorite subjects to film for the school news. Over the school year, we produced about one film a week, but sadly, over the years, many of them have been lost or misplaced. Every once and a while I'll break out the cam and we'll do something new for old time's sake. I've posted them here for your enjoyment. Click them to play, if you don't have quicktime, you can click the YouTube link as well.

Sampler Sampler

This was my original website sampler of some of the various stunts and things to try to lure people into checking out my site. If you just want the general idea of what I do, watch this.

Ego

Everyone expected me to change my life drastically after Gilligan's Island. While I did enjoy my time in the spotlight, I never really changed, so we thought it would be fun to make a "what if" video to show how things could have gone.

Sampler Macbeth

While in college, I happened to be home on one weekend and was supposed to write my own interpretation of how I would create a stage play of Macbeth for a Shakespeare class. I did one better and filmed one. Young Siward and MacDuff are played by Zack Morin and Jay McErlane respectively. This was filmed on the spot so we never learned the script.

rabbit Behind the Crank

This is just a behind the scenes look at a usual night at Kate Page and I's radio show. Check here for the other cheesier theme song I wrote. Our show's gimmicks were "special guest" appearances that consisted of me in a mask and constant hippy bashing.

Sampler Down by the School Yard

This was the first video I made with the guys in high school. They were asking if anyone had any stunts to show off for the camera. It turned into my whole show once I got on a role. This was the first exposure most people had to me in school, the weird new kid.

rabbit Mr. Smiley

After the first video I was in popular demand on the school news show. So Ross Hendricks was quick to fill the demand with another show. This one aired and cemented my name, but was only shown a few times until a teacher voiced concern about me playing with fire at the end.

Sampler Barroom Heroes

For our third venture we originally made a parody of Cops that involved me snorting cocaine, jumping from a speeding car on a busy street and a shootout with the cops. Unfortunately it was to be aired the same day as Columbine and ultimately got me banned from the school news as long as I filmed anything potentially dangerous or controversial. We lost the Cops film over time. This next stunt film wasn't aired either due to it's dangerous content at the end...

rabbit The Fights 1

I wish I could fit all the old movies, but there are just too many, so these are some fighting scenes from a few. I was sure to include some sort of fighting choreography just as an excuse for me to show off acrobatics or jump from things.

rabbit The Fights 2

You'll notice that in just about every movie I end up fighting the same 2 guys, they would be one of my best buds Zac Morin and my brother Levi.

Sampler Skating

I was probably the first guy in Florida to own a mountainboard. Unfortunately we have very few hills, so I was probably the only guy to own one as well. Regardless we still skated it around where we could when we short or long boarded. Yes the costumes and wigs are necessary.

rabbit Acting

We also made various plotted movies when I was in school. Most of these were before I had a clue about acting. Most of this is pretty bad, but maybe slightly entertaining at least.

Sampler Spare Time

This is just some random footage of things I do in my spare time. One of my babies is a game we call fireball Matrix (after the movie), where we have a common fire and each has a supply of Roman candles and basically shoots anyone he can. Think paintballs that burn the skin. It's aptly named because you feel like you're dodging bullets like in the Matrix. (Yeah I could have picked a better picture, but I felt like being a small minded idiot.)
