Subject: Hey Buddy!!
You say you believe in karma!
Well, so do I!!!
Shortly after your arrogant piece of shit ass self betrayed your
comrades your mother dies for lack of of a lung, how ironic!
AS U CAN SEE THE SIMPLE DEFINTITON OF KARMA IS WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND!
I have never pissed on a dead persons grave especially one that had no
responsibility for your actions, however in this case I was very
willing to make exceptions, especially after reading your bio and your
belief's on helping people will snowball into good returns for you!
I believe the opposite is true if you hurt people it will snowball
into a world of pain for you.
Did you think I forgot! Did you think you just got away that easy? I
think not! I'm not stupid, wouldn't attack shortly after you wronged
me. But go ahead and keep a copy of this e-mail for your records the
IP address is bullshit thanks to wireless routers.
Don't fear for your life, because the lat thing I would want to do is
extinguish that wonderful flame! Instead I promise I will take my
sweet ass time to come back at you. Actually, I'll be super nice and
tell you when. It will be around the time you forget this e-mail. Or
maybe if the dark lord allows you to multiply, it will be when you
have children, and they will pay the price for your misconduct.
There is no reason to worry now what is done is done and you know you
can not change it but my word is my bond and this is my word.
The only reason I give you the advanced knowledge of this is not to
incite fear, but because I am a man.
Long ago we made a verbal agreement, you broke this agreement, and now
you will pay the consequences. I didn't know god would do me the favor
of killing your whore ass mother, but luckily he did.
As a gentleman I will give you some time to grieve.
However, you must still pay for your misconduct acording to the
gentalmes law we agreed to.
Sleep well sweet heart,
OMEGA

So as I read this letter, I was stunned and honestly couldn't think of anyone I wronged enough to warrant this. So I had a friend run a look-up on the IP address that it was sent from and traced it to a line under a Roadrunner domain in Tampa. It was then I put the picture together.
One year at school, me and a long time friend needed 2 seniors for the room draw lotto. We were approached by another couple in need of two. We ended up winning the first room drawn and got first pick of all the rooms. Unfortunately for my friend and I, the couple we partnered with, ended up being horrible roommates. Not only did they smash holes in the wall and leave old food on the carpet, but were dealing out of the apartment. So it was only a matter of time before they were caught by campus security and we testified against them, having them effectively kicked out of the dorm complex.
Years later, I had forgotten completely about them as they were such an insignificant part of my life. However, it appears that they still held a grudge. A quick online search revealed that one of them had set up an "Anti-Zac" group on Facebook.com. It's members consisted of three people who were angry when I dated their friend and more other's I've never even met, but apparently bought from our old roommates. With all that information, I filed a police report with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
The investigating officer explained to me that the letter could have easily been from any of them simply trying to pose as one of the roommates. I supplied him with the IP tracking information and he was able to figure it out. They were all investigated, but none were believed to have the motive to risk arrest. Even the group leader had an alibi. He moved Kentucky. Yet, the other roommate who was kicked out with him, had indeed been living in the Tampa area and they were able to pinpoint him to the email using the IP information and Roadrunner's assistance in tracking the computer.
They gave me the option of pressing charges for "threat with intent to harm", and "harassment", and "cyber stalking" (which I didn't even know was real.) I declined, and explained to them I'd hate to ruin someone by having him arrested over a stupid lapse of judgment. Instead, I'm simply posting this as a warning, that should I have to press charges, I can and will without hesitation. I hope that the individual is able to grow up and move on instead.

I imagine that if he thought he couldn't be tracked, he'd need the proof of how we tracked him, so the following is the original coding from the email.
