I have come to realize that I have been given a great opportunity to try to change
lives. I believe in helping others, as others have helped in the past.
There are two things I endeavor to do with this 15 minutes. I hope to be able to raise funds for charities or any worthwhile organization. I also hope that my life may act as a beacon for those who need help and need someone to talk to about anything.
I'd like to reward any altruistic behavior. I believe strongly in funding medical and
scientific advancement. It’s the one charity that truly benefits all people. Scientific advancement benefits all people regardless of race, belief, age, location- anything. Ultimately it is worldly equivalent of treating the cause and not the symptoms. I don't have much to give, but I'll send a signed 8x10 to anyone who can send me proof that they gave to any type of medical or scientific charity. If anyone donates over 100, and can make it to FL. I'd be glad to sit down and thank you over dinner. Interested? Here is the homepage fore the The Medical Research Agencies of America
Even before organ donation became an issue in the life of a loved one, I had always been a strong advocate it. I myself am personally a
donor of my entire body. I believe it selfish to not share what I will
no longer need when it could save someone else's life. Just as a TV is not what makes the programming, it is not the body that make us who we are, but simply the medium with which the soul can be viewed and expressed. For me, I take joy in knowing that I'll continue to help people even after my own death. So I just want to encourage anyone who is not already a donor to check out The Organ Donation Home Page.
I'd also like to drum up some attention to the American Lung Association of FL since that was a cause that hit close to home. You can donate locally at their FL chapter or nationally at their national page.
I have, in the past, and will continue to offer my support to any charities who want representation. I'll help as best I'm able from autographs, to bachelor auctions, to hosting events. If I can help you, contact me. Nothing is too big or too small.
